Internal audits

Internal audits are a key component of the integrated management system. In addition to annual system audits, additional process audits (4x/year) are carried out at each location. The system audits check the implementation of the requirements of DIN EN ISO 9001, 27001, 50001, 11799, IDW PS and the EU GDPR (as amended). The process audits cover changing subject areas - depending on current relevance or criticality. The requirements of the relevant OECD guidelines are queried in the internal GLP audits, which take place as part of the system audits. The internal audits are used to ensure the effectiveness of the processes. If follow-up measures arise from the audit results, these are documented and processed via action plans.
